The Queen of the Ocean, emerges from the waters moving her arms with the rhythm of the waves, carrying the waters to bathe all humanity, cleansing us from all that is not good. Dressed in blue and white translucent foam with crystalline reflections from the moon and stars, ever so enchanting, beautiful, sensual, fertile.
She is the mother, the Feminine Principle of Creation, in her we find comfort and protection, her arms open ready to receive us and to nurture us.
Through the force of her waves, she creates the movement required to change, to purify. To her, I go when I need courage, support, clarity, cleansing.

The Orixás are different manifestations of creation, of the divine forces of nature. The Yoruba people come from Africa, and were brought as slaves to Brazil. In Brazil, their culture and religion developed into the spiritual practice of Candomblé, from which later Umbanda emerges. They held nature as their high power, understanding the necessity to respect and honor the sacred relationship between nature’s elements and human beings. As so each orixá represents a certain aspect of nature, with which we can communicate, learn from and ask for guidance and help.
